奥地利王位继承战争
奥地利皇帝查理六世因其没有男继承人，生前规定了王位由其长女玛利亚特蕾西亚继承。1740年死后，当时欧洲普鲁士，法国等国家拒绝承认玛利亚特蕾西亚的继承权，爆发了王位继承战争。使玛利亚特蕾西亚一度陷入困境。1741年，玛利亚特蕾西亚在今天斯洛伐克的匈牙利国会会议求助，并得到匈牙利贵族的全面支持。战争过后，哈布斯堡王室和匈牙利的关系得到很大程度的缓和。玛利亚特蕾西亚制定一些政策使饱尝战争摧残的匈牙利恢复了和平和繁荣。
